ABOUT
My origin story started in failure, so yours doesn’t have to.
I'm Logan, founder of Origin Story Marketing.
Before I ever did marketing, I started my first business: a coffee roastery in Tucson. I had no idea what I was doing, couldn’t build a solid client base and it failed fast. In 2020 I tried again with a personal training business. The pandemic shut it down before it could find its feet.
These failures taught me how easily an owner can pour everything into their business and still come up short.
When I moved into marketing, I carried that with me. Over my career I've helped more than 60 businesses across home service, healthcare, photography, and law grow their client base, from small and mid-sized shops to a 120-location national franchise. As a department head, I built marketing systems that scaled without breaking for any size business.
But I kept running into the same problem. Leads didn’t turn into jobs, and customers didn’t return often enough to actually make progress towards the clients development goals.
So I built Origin Story Marketing to work differently.
I set up your marketing the way I'd want my own business set up: transparent systems you can see into, data you own, and a strategy that connects the digital space to communities at the ground level by sharing your origin story.
My goal is to make my work last. I want your growth compounding on its own, so that if you keep working with me, it's because you want to, not because the whole thing falls apart the day you stop paying.
My Mission Statement
To empower local small businesses to strengthen their brand, play an active part in their community, and grow a client base that sustains itself. I build transparent, data-driven marketing systems you understand and control.
Frequently Asked Questions

Most marketing services run between $1,500 and $8,000 per month, depending on the scope of work and how competitive your industry is. I provide a specific number tied to a defined scope before you commit, rather than a starting-price estimate. Because the goal is for your systems to eventually operate without me, the cost should decline over time as your growth becomes self-sustaining.

The metrics that matter are leads, booked customers, and cost per acquisition. Website traffic is easy to generate and easy to present favorably, so it tells you little on its own. I focus on closed jobs, earned revenue and average lifetime customer value.

Absolutely! Learning to do these things gives owners independence from agencies. But it takes years of learning and making mistakes to understand the digital space, and it’s constantly evolving.
The difficulty is in the system underneath - where ads, customer follow-up, and tracking need to connect so each part informs the entire system. I bring the experience and knowledge of working on over 60 accounts so we can get it right the first time. -
Different channels operate on different timelines. Paid advertising can produce measurable movement within a few weeks, while local search authority generally takes several months to develop.
A sound strategy uses both the fast and the slow channels to create an ecosystem, and I help identify which is which at the outset. -
No. My retainer is month-to-month to provide flexibility for small businesses.
